Our GP+ Doctors
Where better health starts
Our GP+ doctors are usually your first point of contact when it comes to your health. They coordinate your care in the short and long term, working with specialists and surgeons to help restore and maintain your heath.
Our GP+ doctors (also known as GP+ sub-specialists) are GPs who have completed advanced training at ISHC to provide an even higher level of care.

Dr Anoop Jalota
Weight Management
Dr. Anoop Jalota has been working in the Illawarra Region for more than 12 years and has extensive experience in General Practice.
He specialises in Preventative Medicine. He is keen to promote healthy lifestyle and provide specialised support for patients who need help with weight management.
Dr Anoop Jalota recently completed Certification in Obesity Management at SCOPE (Strategic Centre for Obesity Professional Education). SCOPE is the only internationally recognised certification in Obesity Management.
Dr. Anoop Jalota is an active member of the Illawarra & Shoalhaven GPs leadership team and is involved with GP training, continued professional development, mentoring and teaching student and newly qualified GPs. He has been actively involved in strategic planning and improving the quality of General Practice in the Southeast and Illawarra.

So rather than having to wait and face an extra expense, if you need to see a second specialist on the day of your consultation you will not be charged any further out-of-pocket expense. Because we are committed to providing you with immediate access to top specialists at the time of your visit. It just makes sense.
