Dr. Mo has dedicated a lifetime acquiring qualifications, training and experience pursuing this passion of helping patients and transforming their lives by performing complex Reconstructive micro-surgery and strengthening self-esteem through delicate Plastic Cosmetic Surgery.

What attracted Dr. Mo and drew him to becoming a Plastic Surgeon was his high level of surgical skill, attention to detail and the artistry that is paramount in Plastic Surgery.

After obtaining his medical degrees and being selected into surgical training, he embarked on a further twenty years of rigorous general surgery and plastic surgery training including a MPhil research degree at the University of Sydney. Dr. Mo has extensive training and experience at leading local and international hospitals.

Finishing his undergraduate training in 1996, he completed his specialist training in General Surgery in 2001 and subspecialty in plastic surgery in 2013.

In 2018, Dr. Mo was awarded the Fellowship of Royal College of Australasian in Plastic Surgery. Upon successful completion of his Fellowship, he undertook a further post-training fellowship in Hand surgery, Microsurgery, Lymphoedema and Facial Animation surgery at Macquarie University Hospital in Sydney.

Dr. Mo is affiliated with ASPS, ASAPS, ISAPS, ISAPS Leap. He is also a member of the Medical Advisory Committee for Brisbane Water Private Hospital.

 

Dr. Mo is known for his constant dedication to his patients and takes considerable  time to discuss the available options with his patients before commencing the treatments to restore freshness, function and aesthetic balance. His distinct approach combines personal attention and clinical expertise with warmth, compassion and care.

Research interests

Dr Joshi has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of food allergy. Her current projects include a trial looking at the prevention of egg allergy (BEAT) and a national study examining the epidemiology of food protein induced enterocolitis (FPIES).
