FDA announces implants potential risk of causing BIA-ALCL

The FDA has just announced that all breast implants are now potentially at risk of causing BIA-ALCL (Breast implant associated-Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma), a rare lymphoma arising around breast implants. ISHCERF in conjunction with Macquarie University have been at the forefront of research into this condition and are committed to ensuring early detection, timely treatment and eventually prevention of this disease.
